Congratulations Al. This story will tell you what type of person Al is: The first time I met Al was in D.C. at the ABA Compliance Conference. My wife and I were standing in the lobby of the hotel talking to the Concierge looking for things for her to do while I was in the conference sessions all day (we obviously didn't plan ahead). Al over heard us and offered a ticket for the White House that he and his family had obtained but now were not using. He and his wife also spent some time with us explaining things to do and see in D.C.

Thanks Al for sharing your compliance knowledge and also your professionalism in all areas.

As Allan said, recognition by our peers is the highest compliment. I was as close to speechless as I ever have been.

And, as Anonymous said, we found a few new wineries (at least to us) in the Paso Robles area on the way home. But, the stack of mail and about 800 unread posts on BOL took most of my time yesterday.
