I am interested in finding out how other banks measure the performance of their internal audit departments. Are you measured by how many audits you complete, the percentage of your calendar completed, or by something else? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I agree. The real test of performance is the examiners and external auditors. They will report to the board what they think. Also, if some thing big comes up that I should have caught doesn't look good.
