Whats up with Katlin being shot? Who will replace the spontaneity between her and Tony?

I had read that one of the team was going to die, and I assumed it would be McGee...what a bummer. I must say, I didnt expect it to end that way. I enjoyed the whole cast. why the heck would they break up the team after 2 seasons? I would guess she wanted to leave...

I heard that she did want to leave. I am not sure the show will be the same without her. I hope they find a replacement that works well with the team.

I am so mad! I loved Sasha Alexander in that role! And they did such a good job in the last 2 episodes delving into her and Tony's relationship. No one can replace Kate.

OMG - I know, I had Tivo'd it, and watched it later last night and was like "What the...." I was actually shocked... I hope that they bring someone in that's good at least to replace her, I'm shocked - I mean you don't bring someone back who's been shot in the head... ya know?

My goodness....NCIS certainly fooled me and my wife. I also am mad....loved the spontaneity between Kate and Tony. They better come up with an excellent replacement..I also had figured it would be McGee or the Doctor's assistant that would go...but NO...

All through the episode, there were instances where it could have been any of them-Dinozo (sp?) with the car bomb, Gibbs when he was walking and Ari followed him on the motorcycle, McGee when he was trying to jam the missle...was stunned when kate stood up and took one between the eyes.... I dont think this will be a 24 moment with her being revived. That stinks.

I wonder how they kept it so quiet that Kate would be the one. I didn't read or hear of this anywhere.....just that one of them wouldn't survive. Dadgummit....Bellasario, what were you thinking?

There was an article about it in TV guide (this week, i think). They were filming the final episode at the time of the interview, and they said the director had kept the final 5 pages of the script from them and wouldnt give to them until the very last minute. They had a bet among them as to who would be going-the odds were 2-1 McGee...

I think that Tony was having a really bad dream and that she's OK.

We can only hope, but it doesn't seem likely considering all the press on "someone will die".

I had to attend a grand parenting class last night that could not be rescheduled and missed everything!!

If I've raised two children you would think I wouldn't have to attend a grand parenting class!

I missed American Idol, NCIS and part of House! (and fell asleep and missed most of CSI Miami previously)

BankerMama, when you fall asleep and miss most of CSI Miami, you don't need grand parenting classes... You're already well on your way to being a grandparent. Besides, do you really need someone to tell you your job is to spoil the children?

Exactly! Well we do what we can to keep our daughters happy sometimes....the class was her idea. Her daddy is going to be a stay-at-home grandpa so the class was really for him.

What a shocker! And the way they did it, at the end of the show. Not much closure.

I was sure it would be the Proby.

No, it was Kate. She was shot between the eyes. One of the best episodes this season sorry you missed it.

If it had been real, instead of realistic, it would have been much worse. There should have been a much larger hole at the exit wound in the front of her head than there was. Much, MUCH larger.

Well I missed the finale and saw it last week. The new season picked up where the last season ended and Kate is here to ease the transition. Looks like it may be an interesting season with the new boss and all.

Depends on the round, velocity and distance. But then, so much does.....
