#363704 - 05/25/05 05:12 PM BSA/AML - beyond general training

We've provided our entire bank staff with general BSA/AML, Suspicious Activity, and Customer Identification Program training using an e-learning system. Our next step is to provided specific training for loan areas, Trust, private banking, credit cards, safe deposit box area, etc.

I'm looking for time-saving ideas. Does anyone know of a trainer who might be able to prepare the materials and fly out to Hawaii to present, or prepare the materials and we can have our Training Department do the actual training.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would love to! Unfortunately I don't think my boss would be too keen on the idea.

Many, many years ago our compliance manual was in bad need of updating. I volunteered to go to Hawaii (on the bank's dime) with a laptop to update the policy. I was turned down. Life isn't always fair is it?

Check with Proffesional Bank Services. I am sure Mark Dever or David Luken would be happy to fly to Hawaii to train (seriously the company does do onsite training). Please tell them I sent you, maybe they will give me a discount when I sign up for their seminar next year!

We are inviting ProBank and speaker Mark Dever to training compliance officers in Hawaii. PM me and I can give you the details.
