I'm going to be the eternal optimist and suggest that the new Congress will somehow be persuaded that section 326 is a ridiculous requirement, and will revoke it on January 26, 2003.

Isn't anyone going to go with "before the end of the 1-year period beginning on the date of enactment" of USA PATRIOT?

I'm going to go with May 7, 03 because I'm sure the government feels it would be an appropriate 40th birthday present for me.

If not then...a week after they finally finish the proposed revisions to the "New" CRA.

I'll take March 1. Same deadline as HMDA submission--those people have a very strange sense of timing. If so, we will be very happy that we are 90% implemented.
