For those of you that complete audits or self assessments fo consumer compliance regulations [such as Reg CC, Reg DD,Reg E,Etc.]do you complete these on a 12 month cycle or an 18 month cycle?

I would complete them based on your risk assessment. If you have a low risk item - I don't think that an 18 month schedule is unrealistic.

ditto. most of ours are done on a 12 month cycle, but a few are dne every 18 months since they are low risk for our bank. some of our 18 month audits based on our own risk assessment are right to financial privacy, reg e, reg cc, equal employment opportunity, reg p, reg dd, bank protection act...
