I just had to tell the whole world that we just wrapped up our first BSA exam since the whole Riggs fiasco-with the new exam procedures and I had to say we had a PERFECT exam!
Whoopie! (jumping up and down..doing the jig...) I'm just soooooo happy that I had to tell someone and noone else really understands except fellow bankers.
We are not even having an exit meeting for BSA b/c they only found two minor mistakes (p.o. boxes on monetary instrument logs). I have worked tirelessly for months and it's so nice to know that things paid off! Just had to let it out.
Yes, it does feel good and I think management is very much relieved that it turned out as well as it did. I'm lucky to be in an environment where they actually took it seriously. The CEO and President were both on the BSA committee and I think that spoke volumes about managments intentions to get in there and do what it takes to make sure we have a top notch program.
