So, "Anon" you are the God of knowing what a rational response is?

I'm not trying to be.

how can you assume anything about me?!?!

How can you say that "Another possibility is that Pixie and AML have run into people in their "real" lives who think they are better than those who are tattooed and they thought I was that sort of person. " You have no way of coming to that ASSumption!

I didn't assume anything. I just said it was a possibility. You just seem to be very sensitive to any comment that you perceive is not 100% supportive. I just thought your sensitivity might possibly come from having contact with people who were snobby to you because you have a tattoo. I guess you are saying that is not a possibility. I regret you thought I was assuming something when I was not.

I don't look down on anyone with a tattoo although I might take a little caution with a person with a jailhouse tattoo. Actually, I know an 85 year old conservative Christian grandmother who got a tattoo with her granddaughter. The tattoo is of sewing scissors. She said that she got it because she thought, "what the heck, if I don't like it, I probably only have at most 10 years to live with it." I think that is great.

I am sorry if I offended you. I really think you are overreacting.

I am not. Its just that he responded without getting bent out of shape. It is not the only rational, cool-headed, response that has been posted here.

I don't have a tattoo.

So, what, you can't handle my attitude? What a shame, I was just getting warmed up.

I dunno. Maybe it prevents you from getting a tattoo that you later regret?

No. Please continue. Don't let my handling of your comments prevent you from expressing yourself fully.

No, one person with that emotional range monthly is enough for any household.

Yep, that special black light that shows off all the lint on your dark shirt and makes your teeth look weird. With that light only you can see on my wrists Chinese characters, and some Fleur de Lis around my eyes. The "ink" comes from a particular plant. My tattoo artist (from NY but has a shop around LA,CA but visits us here in the Great State of TX) gave them to me. Who knows, maybe it will get me on CSI someday.

We should change the name of this thread to Pixie vs "Anon"
as the whole 4th page is pretty much just us duking it out.

oh, yes, yes, J. I know. YOUR not arguing. I'm the one that is all bent out of shape. YOU were just trying to ask an innocent question. You never said you were better than me and YOU were never upset.

click on file, scroll down, click, and SAVE IT!

Please let the record show that the Anon that just doesn't get it is not me... Also, I'm not OZ anymore.
Anyhoo, I have a tattoo and a pierced tongue. I find no need to explain to anyone why I got either. I love them. I think tatoos and piercings are things that some people understand and others just don't get.

No Black Light needed to make it. First the design is cut in blood...and I'm going to stop there.

After having read the other strings I feel that we should at least feign a deep philosophical debate.

For the record, 1. I don't post anon... If I have an opinion, I will state it with a name attached. I'm not ashamed... 2. Why would I try to pick a fight over something as personal as a tattoo? This isn't the thread on handcuffing a 5 yr. old. 3. I am almost officially offended, but don't find stupid comments worth my time.
and last, but not least 4. I have a tattoo, a belly ring, and my ears double pierced. Why? Because I WANTED TO!!!
