Ole Miss vs Mississippi State, every year on Thanksgiving! My son is at Ole Miss, his parents went to Miss State! Should be interesting, we will be happy and sad regardless of who wins. Just hope it is not another of those 7 overtimes games.

I attended Ole Miss but lived in Starkville when I was 8 while my dad got his masters at Miss State. So, we are an intra-state-collegiate-rivalry family. Does this qualify me for some government benefits?

I think just being from MS qualifies

Being the good MSU alumni that we are; we told our son that we would not be sending our money to Ole Miss--so, he picked up the gauntlet and got the grants and scholarships! It sure is fun cashing Ole Miss checks!!

Our Thanksgiving dinner will also include an aunt from LSU!! Ole Miss does host the banking school for our state so I did learn to appreciate some aspects of the school -- like The Grove.

Oh, I'm not from MS, I'm from AL, but have lived west of the Mississippi for many years.
