The Dead. The Smiths (full band.) BB King (could possibly still do that one, I suppose.) I've been lucky, I've seen a lot of the ones I really wanted to.

You can still see the Eagles. . .I'm flying to Las Vegas in October to see them at the MGM Grand. . .I'd have to check my calendar, but I think it's the 15th. . .

I'll second you on the Beatles (although I think Paul will be at the MGM sometime in November. . .)!

I know I can still see the Eagles but they are on the other side of the US from where I am at. Not a chance, for that. And I wouldn't want to see just Paul. But thanks for the info. Maybe one day I'll see the Eagles.

The Beatles
The Animals
The Doors
Jimi Hendrix
The Who (w/ Pete Best)

The Beatles stopped touring before I was born. The others I was too young to have had a chance.

As for those I could've but didn't:

The Cars
The Police
The Replacements
Pixies (missed the reunion tour, darn it!)

Dude, the Pixies are *AWESOME* in concert. Esp a club concert. The Godfathers are right up there too. Frank Black by himself is not so good though.

I saw Alice in Chains when they opened for the Ramones at Toad's. They were very good and I knew they'd do well.

I live in the "Live Music Capital" and have seen a lot. While this is a combo of two Threads; the best Live show that I have seen was Stevie Ray Vaughn opening for Roy Orbison on one stage while the next stage over Blondie (the original band) played after the Ramones had opened for them. Not a bad night.

I know they are not on the original list but I'm too old for that list but The Beatles
I had the chance to see them live in Cinci when they first came to the US and my parents would not let me go. (yes, I realize that I just gave away my age, oh well )
