I'm hoping I can confirm something with my peers:

Electronic transfers between accounts can only be conducted if the individual is named on each account, correct? Family members and relatives cannot transfer funds between account of other family members, correct?

This question came up in an operations meeting, and I'd never heard anything other than what I've written above. Have I overlooked something?

here and there
That's how we do it here, if someone wants to transfer electronically between accounts, they have to be signers on both accounts. However, if someone wanted to transfer money into, lets say, their child’s account (of whom they are not a signer) we would have them write a check to that name or give them an Advise of Charge and run either the check or adv of chg with a deposit slip…
