OK. Who watched last night and who do you think the new neighbor has in the basement? Didn't the mom and son relationship seem a little off? Was the hand that of a white or black person?

The hand was white-not sure who is in the basement. I have a question-these are very nice homes-why does the basement look like alcatraz and has a convenient steel door cell?
Since the whole story is out with Mary Alice, this is the new mystery-maybe the guy in the basement is the guy that Delfino is/was working for???

We are about 50/50 split here whether the person in the basement is white or black. If they are black then it is probably the husband.
Or maybe it is Desmond from Lost (he really gets around)

The relationship between the mother and son seemed strange. Could it be that they are lovers, rather than mother/son?
FWIW, I think the hand in the basement was white. It also appeared to have some sort of restraining device around the wrist.

I think the person in the basement could be Zach. I'm sure the mother/son are somehow tied to him and his family. He is missing after all.

Can someone refresh my memory? Did Delfino leave Paul Young out in the desert alive?

At first I thought it was the boy's father, but now I like AuditGuy's observation that it's Zach.

I don't think it can be Zach, if you recall, the son said, in response to the mom's question, that he fixed the tray, "like always". If it were Zach, it would be a new thing...just wondering. I also think the hand was white

The hand appeared to be white.....I thought at first it might be Zach but just the quick show they did of the hand it appeared to be an more "mature" hand, if you know what I mean. So I'm wondering - could it be Zach's dad?? I can't recall what happened to his dad, didn't he supposedly leave?? The new neighbor and her son are definitely creepy....

I agree with Anon and Viking Princess-it was only a day or so since Zach had run off-from the sounds of the "mother/son" conversation, the prisoner had been there a while. Remember, they moved in at night. I think the prisoner was brought in.

I thought the mother touched the maybe son a bit too sensually for it to be her son. I also think Lynette showed she deserved her Emmy when she went into multi-tasking mode.

The best was when Brea changed Rex's tie in the casket. She is so neurotic & compulsive. She would make a GREAT Compliance Officer!

How about when the mother made the comment to the son about coming up with the "father's dead" lie and to let her do the thinking from now on? That led me to believe it was his father in the basement...

The hand is white. I would be willing to bet it is a charater that we havn't been introduced to yet. The hand looked mature and slightly heavy.
