Diazo's are copies of microfisch (I probably spelled that wrong). They're light blue after being developed, small thin pieces of plastic you used to put into a viewer to see loan docs that were stored in central vault.

It took 7 seconds to make a diazo. I was SO BORED that I would run 3 machines at a time, verses the one machine that everyone else would use (that department was not full of go getters!) I actually got chewed out because my production was too high and the losers pulling staples couldn't keep up with the mail envelope addressing (each diazo went to a requester somewhere in the bank). So I took over that job and made the diazo's. My production was still too fast. It threw off the daily production levels and caused the filing people (they had to file the microfisch back after the request was filled) to freak out because they couldn't keep up.

I realized I was not cut out for brainless work with brainless people. (And before anyone jumps on me...we had a gal who had been pulling staples out of appraisals...yes that's a job! for seven years!).

LOL! I was wondering if anyone would catch that....

When I graduated from college with my freshly minted BS, I took a job at a "zoo" as an animal keeper/educational presenter. What I ended up being was the Snake Show Girl. I was hired to overhaul the hoofstock breeding program, but I made the mistake of letting them find out that neither reptiles nor public speaking frightened me.

Like many, I started out with mowing lawns and delivering papers.

Then in my teens, I was a dishwasher (and later a line cook) at a local diner.

Some of the part time jobs I held during my early days in banking (and I thoroughly enjoyed all of these jobs):
Cashier-type-person at a craft & hobby store.
Newspaper delivery truck driver.
Running tumblers at a metal finishing plant.
