Honesty is HUGE! I trust my husband and as far as I know he has never told me a lie. That is why I don't get all bent out of shape when he goes out with his friends.

Not to mention that when it comes down to it he is a bad lier (he can never keep a secret at Christmas time) and could never get away with it!

I will NOT continue dating anyone I cannot trust. I think trust is something earned so obviously you date people you might not trust completely - but when entering something a little more serious I have to absolutely trust them. While no one can predict the future you can certainly plan. If you don't have trust you can forget about anything else. To me, you can be as gorgeous as George Clooney (hee hee) but if I find out I can't trust you? You become like um, who's the ugliest guy alive?

I think I might start my list of:

Integrity
Ambition
Moderate to High Self-Esteem
Intellect
Confident
Humerous
.....and hopefully good looks....while looks are important nothing beats the above 6 in my book.

Tuning in late: Honesty, Intelligence,patient, and have a drive to always improve and learn. BTW it doesn't hurt for them to be attractive.

That's why I've never trusted pretty guys-you know the ones I mean. They always seem to be the ones who lie, cheat and steal to get what they want from you, because they know they can get away with it. I'll take the funny looking ones any day!

File Queen - I never like to judge a book just by the cover but unfortunately there is some truth to your statement that it's the pretty guys who lie, cheat and steal. I've dated many HOT HOT HOT men, the major problem with all but one was that they were so self-absorbed. They knew they were HOT and they played games with it. Now when I date I don't look past them but now I look for key factors. Do they always self-promote? If yes? see YOU lata!!!!.......
