A few things not to go as (from experience) The house that landed on the wicked witch of Oz (the first one to melt away). Very hard to work in a house, or drink beer. Sitting is impossible.

The Iffle Tower (spelled that wrong didn't I?) Again, not a costume you can sit in and the gold jump suit underneeth was hot.

Duct Tape Pregnant Gorilla. HOT!!! I was melting half an hour into the party. Oh and again, had to take my head off to drink.

A tornado. You end up with a flat side from sitting which makes the tornado look funny.

I highly suggest characters that are not masked (we don't allow that here nor did we at any other bank) and keep it simple because you have to work in it all day. Giesha girl is an easy one to do. Half man/woman or half black/white is easy since it's all in the makeup and cloths. Dorothy from the Wizard is easy. Avoid big costumes. They look cool, but save those for the party after work. They're hell to work in.
