Our collections manager has requested to be able to accept checks over the phone for the purpose of making a loan payment. This is something that we have never done and I really don't know where to start in finding guidance. Is this something that others do and if so, does anyone know the requirements. Thanks for any help!!

We don't do this and I have never done any research on it. I'd start by calling the DFI and asking for the banking division.
