I wouldn't pick something typical and tradtional or the most popular. I would pick something different. That is what I want to do. We used "This I Promise You" (lyrics posted by X). Song was the first one we danced to while dating. As a personal twist, we had my cousin (an aspiring singer) perform it for the first dance at the reception.

I would have liked Boz Scaggs "Sail on White Moon", but the church selected the singer (stodgy old catholic parish in Chicago) and she had a limited repetoire. So I got, Here comes the Bride, Ave Maria and The Wedding March.
