I have tried to cancel Christmas but no one will listen to me. So I had to spend my weekend Christmas shopping.

Baugh Humbug...I hate people who start prior to December 20th. Last minute Lucy here. But I always manage to get it done. Ideas are the hardest....

I have my little Charlie Brown x-mas tree up. It's perfect in it's imperfection. I've only bought a few presents, I gotta get a move on or the season will be over.

I went to adiamondsiforever.com and designed a 3-stone diamond necklace. Its really gorgeous! The karats are 1.25, 1, and .75 respectively. Its in platinum, looks fantabulous!

I agree. I still have nearly 3 full weeks before I have to go anywhere. Too much wassail to be chugged. Speaking of which, does anybody know of a good wassail recipe?

Sorry, Its not wassail - its mulled cider.
2 gals water
4 family sized tea bags
2 boxes brown sugar
1 quart apple cider
1 large container frozen concentrate orange juice (no water)
1 orange, sliced with peel
10-12 cloves
4-5 cinnamon sticks
Make tea in water and then addrest of ingredients. Simmer 2 hours. Remove cinnamon sticks after 2-3 hours. Keep on warm to serve.
You still use 1 quart of apple cider if you make a half recipe. Makes the house smell really good! (of course, you can always add a little rum to the mixture - season to taste)
