MasterCard put out several Data Compromise Alerts indicating that a US merchant had their computers hacked into with card numbers and expiration dates being taken. We've had charges from Japan, China, Turkey, and England resulting from this occurance. All have involved conterfeit cards so the merchants most likely will have sales receipts (signed in Japanese), but it will cost us just the same.

If you can link those charges to that compromise you should have compliance rights.

Whodunit - What do you mean by "you should have compliance rights"? About half of our loses are on the MasterCard list, but every one has had a signed receipt, so we are losing the chargebacks.
