Okay, I give up. I’m trying to locate information on Multi-Family property type for HMDA. I’ve probably passed over it a dozen times in the GIR and just can’t put my finger on it. I found some information in BOL’s Infovault but was hoping to be able to reference the GIR. Appreciate any input here, thanks.

Look at page A-1 of the GIR guide. Under "property type", multifamily is a "3."
On page A-2, for "owner occupancy," use a "3" for multifamily dwellings.
On page A-7, for "income", use "NA" for multifamily dwellings.

Try doing a search when you're in the GIR for the word "multi" - there are numerous references to multi-family. (Edit/Find or Control F will allow you to search a pdf.)
