I'd gladly raise a glass of whatever is on tap and close by in honor of Alito.

Hmmm, Slick. Might I suggest the Morphine Drip? My own concoction featuring the drink of your choice... but here's the catch: Every minute the bar tender squirts a little Everclear in the drink. Either you drink fast and feel numb or you drink slow and get really messed up.

i was thinking more in the lines of some vodka, but hey, i can deal with the morphine drip too.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
I'd like an Irish coffee, please! Lots of whipped cream on top.

When the WaterCooler forum first opened, two BOL posters, Zaibatsu and Mr.Clean opened up a virtual bar that "opened" on Fridays to let people relax and chat about non-bank stuff.

Running and riding everywhere ...
It was terrific when it first opened. There were comfy chairs, olives thrown, some posters streaking (wont name names). We even had a virtual pool, sand volleyball court, and riding stable out back.

It's changed a bit since then.

Ah, the good ol' days. The remodeling project took place here.

We did as much eating as drinking in the good ol' days. Remember the all time favorite cheesy hash browns?

No wonder I am so thirsty; I didn't even come in that day for a drink.

Well Truff,
Since you mentioned it, care to join me in eating these cheesy hash browns I just made?

(And since it's virtual calories don't count!)

Thank goodness no calories! Can't afford to put on weight right before VACATION!!! Got past the Feds so on 2/10/06 MOML and I are heading to the beach. I'll be back in time to push the submit button for HMDA.

Becca, how's the bear doing today? Gran #1 was home yesterday too with some ugly little gastro bug that's going around. She's still home but I'm sure she's just milking it for what it's worth now!

WOOHOO
Do you really need all those calories? I don't think so!

Things that are difficult to say when you're drunk...

1) Innovative
2) Preliminary
3) Proliferation
4) Cinnamon

Things that are VERY difficult to say when you're drunk...

1) Specificity
2) British Constitution
3) Passive-aggressive disorder
4) Transubstantiate

Things that are DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE to say when you're drunk...

1) Thanks, but I don't want to sleep with you.
2) Nope, no more drinks for me, I've reached my limit.
3) Sorry, but you're not really my type.
4) Please take the shooters back, let's have water.
5) Good evening officer, isn't it lovely out tonight?
6) I'm not interested in fighting you.
7) Oh, I just couldn't - no one wants to hear me sing.
8) Thank you, but I won't make any attempt to dance, I have zero coordination.
9) Where is the nearest toilet? I refuse to vomit in the street.
10) I must be going home now as I have work in the morning.
11) Look, it would be great to have sex but I hardly know you and we will only feel really embarrassed and awkward in the morning.
12) That guy is looking at my girlfriend but I am sure it's just because he knows her or something.
13) That chair looks wobbly and dangerous and I certainly wouldn't try balancing on it with this short skirt on in case I fell off.
