Clown Boy Power Poster Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 3,934 here and there	You should have seen the customer I just had to deal with... This guy is nuts. He came in with a check written to his business and wanted to cash it. Went to the youngest, most intimidated teller at our branch so I stood behind her and I told him that since his account is an INC. he has to deposit the money and then write a check to receive the funds. Anyway his account was in the red so I told him that he couldn't have the funds until his overdraft was paid up. Then he threatened to jump the counter and take the money out of the teller's drawer. Can you believe that? I ended up verifying funds on the check, and overriding the system and allowing him to cash the counter check so things wouldn't get crazy. My God, some people are nuts!! I’m guessing that account will be closed soon… _________________________ I am the ringmaster of my domain!

Anyway, he comes in every day (practically) to get something notarized. Why can't people just understand, if they overdraw an account than they need to pay that money back before we give them more. What really sucks it that all the bosses are in meetings today so no one could really back me up on cashing the check, I called my boss and she said I did the right thing.
