I thought at one time that we were required to give consumers the option of getting their tax check as a lump sum or in installments.

However, in WI statute 138.052(5m)(e) I see that if it is the practice of the escrow agent to disburse funds by December 20 each year payable to the customer and their local treasurer, then we're fine. We're not required to make any additional notifications to the customer or give them any options.
