I could only wish to see a White Christmas! No snow here in WI, and no snow expected.

By the way, No one won the Powerball lottery here in WI on Saturday, so that pushed the lottery amount to $281 million to be drawn on Christmas Day!!!! Merry Christmas to who ever gets the lucky numbers!! Wish me luck!

I hope that to be me. I have to go to Minnesota to get the tickets but not for long. We will be joining the Powerball soon.

I think I could find a use for $281 million. Keeping the fingers crossed.

I love it when the southern states get snow, and we don't up north (Nebraska). I actually wish we could have a white Christmas, but it looks like it is all south of us.

A Thought For Christmas

As we approach Christmas this year one single fact of Christmas seems to stick in my mind. When Christ was born, there was no room to be found for Him to lay His head but in a manger. I wonder are we still not able to find room in our hearts for Him? If money, power, or a certain job is lord of our lives, then Christ can't be. He wants to have total control of our lives, but first we have to make room in our hearts for Him. So ask yourself this Christmas: "Is there room in my heart for Him"? I hope the answer is yes!

I wanted to wish everyone in the BOL family a very Happy Holiday. I will be off from Christmas to New Years burning up my leftover vacation days, but most of the time I read/post from home anyways! I am looking forward to some quality time with the kids. See you next year!

December marks the completion of my first year in Compliance and Internal Audit. BOL and especially this board has been a great tool for me in learning more about Compliance and Audit. No, you are not alone, we will be holding down the fort. The Bank closes today at 1 and it will probably take about 1/2 hr to finish up. The traffic outside my window is total gridlock, so it will take about another 1/2 hr to get to the main street. The joy of city living. To all my new friends on BOL -- I wish all the joys of the Season. This is one addiction that is not on my "New Years" cure list.

We are open until 1pm also. It is very quiet here today. Nice white snow on the ground. Bright sunshine in the sky. Very little traffic. The only thing missing is 1PM. I'm not very patient, so this is killing me.

I guess I'll be turning off the lights on the east coast, 'cuz we're open until 3:00. Merry Christmas, all!
