Does anyone know if Colorado law prohibits a prepayment penalty for HELOCs? I've found some info under the UCCC 5-3.5-102(g), but it's a little unclear. And I have to wonder how you have a prepayment penalty if there are no restrictions on amount outstanding and payment amount.???

Check out 5-2-210 Right to Prepay. I interprete this to include HELOCs under the prohibition for prepayment penalties since revolving credit falls under the definition of "consumer credit transaction."
