Hello all , in our bank the only auditing thing is done thrghou the department the bank dose not do it thrghou outside company its clear in this department the most qualified personell ive ever seen . Is it enghou if the auditing done only thrghou this department ?

Auditing has transformed over the years. You will no longer see the outside auditors, or regulators, going out to branches to audit. The only exception may be selective review of compliance or BSA, but the regulators would select 1 representative branch. Gone are the days of the regulators coming in and sealing the cash vault and counting money.

Reliance is put on the internal audit program and the results are reviewed by the Board, and the outside auditors.

If that days were gone how they will make sure there is no cheatting in the branch phisical money .
I was told before there was a manager was taking money from the vault and make some business for himself and return back after 1 or 2 days he was fired .

Internal audit will audit the branch and review the internal controls for cash. ie. dual control over cash vaults. Also, internal controls should include internal audits of cash and other items. HT should audit other tellers. Platform audit HT and cash vault.
