A Designated Tree City in OK, ...
I usually just go north to visit the relatives in northern Illinois. Their summers are beautiful too!

I just have to celebrate the weather today, because we had at least six inches last week, and had our first official "white" christmas since 1975. I know you folks up north think that's nothing compared to what you get, but it's a lot around here. I'm sure we'll get more snow before it's all said and done!

Yikes, you're all so bitter!

Sorry, was only joshing with you guys. If I could, I'd give you all perfect weather.

Oh, and no need for air conditioner in the summer! Ceiling fans work fine. After all, the temperature variance between winter and summer here is about 8 degrees.

Note to self - Don't mention the weather again.

Not bitter - just envious!

I remember watching Hawaii 5-0 (now does that date me or what! ) and later Magnum and looking at all the gorgeous scenery and thinking how wonderful it must be to live in a place like that! So what am I doing in the frozen northeast? I wish I knew. . . .

Keep warm thoughts for us!

You're right not to ever mention the weather again! We just
all got word of an early quit due to severely icy conditions!

Just kidding Hawaii guy!

It means to get out of here really fast and go to the dictionary where the word of the day, rebarbative, may mean "V2, Grist".

Nope, don't like SpongeBob (sorry SteveW) --
I prefer the PowerPuff Girls ( Bubbles is my favorite).

(It's Friday and I'm ready to go!)

Thanks all- I was feeling a bit down but now I realize life is grand. I live in Hawaii, no dress code at work (we're back office), get to pad around in SpongeBob slippers. Everybody have a good weekend, since most of you will be leaving soon (I put the lights on a timer).

When I gave a presentation to the manageing committee of your bank. I came with mainland suite and tie. It was embarassing (as well as hot)as all the men in the bank, as well as downtown, are wearing a nice casual shirt and slacks.

Mainlanders stick out like a sour thumb and make everyone giggle at their attire.

But the thought of you wearing SpongeBob slippers at work is making me laugh now.

I was thinking about Allan this weekend. I cleaned the fireplace, stacked some wood to start a fire, but it stayed to warm reaching nearly 70. Cold front hit last night though and we're in the mid-50s for a few days. Wouldn't mind it warmer, but I'm happy.
