A bank notifies a customer that his flood insurance has expired. If the customer has not acquired the insurance within 45 days after notification by the bank, the bank is required to force place the insurance. Does that mean the property has been without insurance for 45 days? Is it possible to notify the customer 45 days BEFORE the insurance expires that it will be expiring and let the clock start counting then? By doing that, the day that the insurance expired (45 days notice, the bank would force place.
