Saved by the Bell, can't forget about Saved by the Bell man.

I remember gas being $1.00 per gallon for a brief period of time. Velcro shoes (how freakin ugly were those?).

Man, I loved those things... if I could find one today... I'd never get off of it... I'd bounce all over the world...

I've seen them in Target (and probably other stores too, but I mainly shop at Target). My child wants one pretty badly.

Really.. you mean they still exist? Oh, don't deny your child... it's a great way to spend one's time...

I'm sure he'll get one eventually, but he's only 4! He's not that coordinated yet!!

Yeah... he's still young...

you mean all fluids checked, tires checked, all windows washed, and often you got a free tumbler or some other gift. you can't compare the price of gas to the prices back then because there is no service with the gas now, so it is much, much inflated.

short period of time? not counting minor spikes and variations across the nation, gas was about a dollar a gallon from 1981 until about 3 years ago.

The woman played by Mary Crosby. I don't remember her name in the show. Too long ago.

Kristen. She was Sue Ellen's sister. We had a contest at school to name the shooter.

Candy, back in the day we did'nt have xerox, we had mimeographs to make copies. Don't know exactly how it worked but the print was a blue/purple and it smelled sooooo good! Kind of an alcohol smell, not sweet.

I remember when I was little, I was always told people who drove white vans were kidnappers. If someone yelled white van, I could make Forrest Gump look slow!

I remember when it cost about $3000 for a .8 megapixel point and shoot camera. And when it cost $22,000 for a 6 mp camera.

I was told the same thing TB, we always called them kidnap vans. They didn't have to be white just a box van with no windows.

I had a friend who was a drummer and had a white van like that, he always complained that if he got lost and had to circle around a neighborhood that parents started calling police.

Remember when your mother's arm slamming across your chest was the equivelant of the modern day seat belt. Standing up in the car was like a game.

Candy, if you've ever seen the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," there is a scene where the teacher passes out a test and all the kids are sniffing it at the same time. I'm not that old (not Fast Times at Ridgemont High-old), but we still had a mimeograph at my high school. It was the electronic kind, not the hand crank, though.
