Compliance vs. marketing.... An open end HELOC ad with a discounted initial rate for a 30 second TV ad - are there any exceptions to all the HELOC disclosures for TV ads? I can't find any and when offering a discounted rate we'll have to show the regular rate just as large and per marketing, "this just clutters the screen". HELP!

I am a marketing person and I agree with you - there are no exceptions as far as lending regs.

The only exception is that you can leave off Member FDIC since it is a lending product and a 30 second spot. I would include EHL though.
