A couple of years ago this office filed a SAR and closed customer's accounts. the customer had presented a couple of checks for deposit. We believed- and later determined- the checks were counterfeit. we would only accept deposit by sending for collection. customer stopped both transactions after learning that the checks were being sent for collection. Now i learn that a new account was recently opened for this same customer and he is bringing in the same type checks for deposit- 2 within the last week. we are going to close the account and file another SAR. in narrative section of the SAR how much info should be given about the previous SAR?
