If a husband comes in and deposits $10,000+ cash into the husband/wife joint account, would Section A be filled out for both husband and wife - since they both benefited from it? And Section B filled out with the husbands information, since he was the transactor? Or mark Conducted on Own Behalf, even if the wife wasn't involved?

What if the husband withdrew the money from a joint account, would it just be his information in Section A - and that is all?

I am just trying to confirm some things.

Both should be included since they both benefit and I would mark 'Conducted on Own Behalf'.

For withdrawals from a joint account, only the individual drawing the money would be on the CTR. We can't 'assume' the other spouse would receive funds.

You only want to identify an "person" once on a CTR. So put the transactor on page 1, and as Skittles, indicate "Conducten on own behalf" for section B and leave the rest blank. Wife would be Section A on page 2.
