Any NCIS fans out there? Do you think Gibbs is gone for good, or just a ploy? I can't imagine the show without him.

Speculation is that Gibbs wouldn't be leaving but that someone is. Unlike last season, we haven't heard of a cast member wanting to leave. I don't know that we'll know until the next season starts and even then, the person leaving could be doing a cameo and the fate could still be unclear.

I had read that the producer said one of the cast would "exit" at the end of this season. My guest for a cast member leaving would be Lauren Holly-

Gibbs can't leave-he's the main reason I watch! But then again, I didn't expect Kate's death last season, either. Don't get me wrong, I love everyone, but I just don't think the rest of the cast is strong enough to carry the show without him.

I still miss Kate! The Israeli just doesn't make up for her loss.

He just can't be gone! I agree with File Queen-I love the cast but don't know if they are strong enough to carry the show. And I love Deva (sp)! She and Denozo have a great dynamic. (I'm sure I spelled the names wrong.) I really liked Kate but Deva adds a different dimension to the cast. Easily the best casting on TV. And great writing! The dialogue never drags for me! West Wing used to be that way but lost it with some cast changes. Anyway, here's hoping that Mark Harman hasn't left for good.

just for information purposes ...her name is Ziva David I love this show...  Gibbs CAN'T be gone next season!!! I think the cast is really good together...the only one that you probably wouldn't miss is Lauren Holly (the Director)

I think the character of Ziva was a good replacement for Kate, although I liked Kate alot...

Is she from Texas Chili or Cincinnati Chili? Or is she from Chile?

I think it is a great move to leave us hanging on the possiblility of Jethro walking out. But I beleive he will be back, and that will be the story arc for the first epsiodes of next year; how he will miss the job, how they need him, etc.
I wish someone would do something about DeNozzo's imaturity. His antics and sextist comments would not be tolerated in the real world, and I find them unfunny and getting pretty annoying.
PS. How long is Tim going to be a probe-be? I'd like to see him kick Denozzo's butt.
