I would like to get some information on how other banks have staffed their audit and compliance departments. Please tell me the following:
Bank Asset Size:
# of Audit Staff
# of Compliance Staff
Reporting Structure
Also, if CRA, BSA, and Security duties are included in staff above.

Thanks for your time!

Hey, I already responded today at the Regulatory Risk Monitor chat group. You sure are covering all the bases.

On the road...
OCC

Compliance Officer = Department of 1
Chief Auditor = Department of 1 (outsource audit functions)
CRA Officer = Senior Lender
Security Officer/BSA Officer = HR Manager

Compliance Officer reports to the Audit Committee
Auditor reports to the Audit Committee and BOD.

As Internal Auditor I report directly to the Audit Committee. As Compliance Officer I report to the President and the Board of Directors.
