That’s so untrue!
I spend much more time watching T.V. or just laying like a lump on the couch than playing fantasy football.
Besides, how much time per week must one spend to beat Ron? I’m guessing a couple minutes, tops.

Ugh, chances are I'll open my season exactly as I intend to continue it--with a HUMILIATING DEFEAT. I can turn ANY lineup of all-stars into a roster of bums, has-beens, pine-riders, and IR heroes.

It's not looking good for me this week! TJ Whosyomomma sat, and Chris Henry went negative standing in for him! I had both at WR, and started Henry....
Culpepper looked like Frye, giving me nothing at QB.
Oh, and Marty Booker is trade bait if anyone wants him!
translation: i played ron. my loss was as sure as the sun rising this morning.

just teasing. trash talk is an integral part of fantasy sports. i was given a gift when stallworth was traded to philly.
Yup, Stallworth rocked it.
Of course whoever has Branch was given a gift when he was traded to Seattle too!
Oh, and whoever has Hasselbeck was given a gift too!

yes, i am kicking myself in a couple of leagues for thinking branch would be this year's galloway/mccardell holout victim.

Well, hokey smokes, somehow I won. Antonio Gates nearly did me in, but I hung on for the victory and I have every confidence now that I can easily shoot for a .500 record over the course of the season.

My team stinks! Anyone want to trade with Somebodies Someones?
I was lucky to pull out the win, but at least your Bengals beat my Steelers.

I know I suggested moving the league next year but when I see that you guys have such history on Yahoo I think maybe I will just spring for stat-tracker. But it does suck that Yahoo makes you pay for something ESPN and CBS give you for free. Did I kick some this weekend?
For next year, I'd love to have someone else help me commish using a different system, and somehow do an online draft where people post up their picks in a thread, and we assign players. I have never done this, but I decided I don't like autopicks, especially in a HUGE league, after my team stinks

I do an annual email draft that we run over the course of two whole weeks, with each person given a maximum of four hours to make a pick (to accommodate for meetings and stuff). Average time per response is actually around a half hour. If you know you're gonna be away for a long time, you just designate someone to proxy-pick for you.
Anyway, hurray for the mighty Burninators and their amazing Week 3 victory with the scrubbiest and most worthless lineup I've ever fielded. I just might be able to eke out a .500 record this season.

slub: OUCH!!! does this mean my team is mortal or is it more akin to the 85 bears losing one flukey game?
I don't know, but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. You have a lot of people playing tonight right?
