I was asked recently what my top five meals were and so I was wondering what everyone else's were. Mine are:

1. Fried Chicken w/ mashed potatoes and gravy
2. Steak w/ baked potato and black eyed peas
3. Chicken Fried Steak w/ mashed potatoes, country gravy, fried okra, and a roll.
4. Fajitas
5. Grilled Hamburgers w/potato salad.

Mine are all stuff I have to figure out new recipes for now that I have to worry about portion size, carb content, etc.!

1. grilled bbq chicken, tater salad, baked beans
2. grilled hamburgers, tater salad, baked beans
3. steak, baked potato with butter and ranch dressing
4. spaghetti and salad
5. roast, potatoes and carrots, with rolls and lots of butter

and not necessarily in that order!

2. Chicken stir fry with fried rice
3. Grilled barbeque chicken, greenbean cassarole, rice, with rolls
4. Steak, baked potato with butter & sour cream, salad
5. roast, potatoes or rice, steamed broccoli, & rolls

Not necessarily in that order, either.

4. chicken tacos, chips, tortillas
5. chicken fried steak with mash tatoes and gravy (a meal that I don't usually get to eat, but really like!)

It goes all summer long! and sometimes the winter months too. It doesnt get that cold in Texas.

grilled pineapple is a must try and corn cobs (still in the shuck)and ba-nay-nay's too in a carmel glaze!

Good for you! My grill goes all year round AND I have a George Foreman large electric grill for when it's ice storming during the winter and I want to grill!

Grillin' ain't just for BBQs!

By the way, if you want a real treat, cut some onions, and some zucchini and yellow squash, coat lightly with some light olive oil and sprinkle with a touch of cajun seasoning and a bit of Worcestershire sauce and grill them on tin-foil on the grill. MmM! Good!

I do something similar to that, but with potatoes, onions, and some green and red bell peppers...so good!!!

Don't the peppers end up mushy? Or do you precook the taters?

Five favorites are hard to pick...

1. Homemade chicken & dumplings with homemade bread
2. Grilled pork chops, potatoe packets on the grill and sweet corn
3. Lasagna with garlic toast
4. Chicken fried steak, mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and baked corn
5. Pizza - with lots of toppings mostly veggies and tons of cheese

They get soft, but not mushy (at least not to me or my family). The trick is to slice the potatoes super thin so that they get done more quickly.
