Fois Gras? Seriously? You are quite cultured.
Either that or someone means Faux Grass, and is talking about bean sprouts and broccoli sprouts!

Good for you! My grill goes all year round AND I have a George Foreman large electric grill for when it's ice storming during the winter and I want to grill!
Grillin' ain't just for BBQs!
By the way, if you want a real treat, cut some onions, and some zucchini and yellow squash, coat lightly with some light olive oil and sprinkle with a touch of cajun seasoning and a bit of Worcestershire sauce and grill them on tin-foil on the grill. MmM! Good!

Don't the peppers end up mushy? Or do you precook the taters?

They get soft, but not mushy (at least not to me or my family). The trick is to slice the potatoes super thin so that they get done more quickly.
