Anyone else waiting anxiously for Uma Thurman's new movie? Looks like the comedy hit of the season to me!

It looks funny, but I probably won't see it until its out on dvd only because there's other movies I'm more looking forward to seeing (#1 on my list would have to be Clerks 2 coming out this weekend). I also still wanna see Click and Superman while they are still in the theatre.

I've only seen the name of 'Lady in the Water'. What's it supposed to be about?

I'm seeing it this Saturday. I don't care too much for Uma but Luke Wilson cracks me up. The Paul, you may want to wait for DVD on Click also. It wasn't bad but not the best movie. Several parts seemed to last forever.

I'm torn on seeing this one.
The Village and Signs really ticked me off...
The trailer sure does make it look good though (but, then again, so did the one for The Village...)

Super Ex-Girlfriend looks pretty funny...

From the preview in the movie, it looks like this lady appears in someone's swimming pool and tries to warn him of some creepy creatures that are coming and may be closer to us than we think (as in, in the grass, in the rain...)and angrier too. Spooky!

He was being interviewed on NPR today and he said that his films usually get bad reviews but people really like them. Shows what the critics know.

Yeah, I've seen him interviewed several times...he seems quite full of himself.

I will concede that the first two were very good (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable--although a lot of people I know didn't like that one either...so much for his theory )

I'm sure I'll end up seeing Lady in the Water eventually...nothing could be worse than the Village! There's nowhere to go but up!

Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies of all times. I'm still waiting for him to make a sequel.

As far as the Village, I liked it. But then again, I liked it because the story was unique. I didn't go into it expecting some horror or anything, but a cool story.

In my Strappy Heeled Sandals!
Sorry to high-jack... but reading the words... "expecting some horror or anything" reminded me of the movie I watched last night... "the hills have eyes"...

Okay.. normally I'm not totally freaked out by this type of movie...but I must say... the sound effects they used in this one... caused me to nearly jump outta my skin...

At one point I was all curled up in the chair.. and something happend... which spooked me.. and caused me to jump... in which when I did.. my foot made contact with the table that is beside the chair... talk about hurt... and then as the movie continued on I heard a door slam shut... this spooked the mess outta me...when I paused the movie and got up to go down the hall I could see a shadow under the bathroom door.. and I ran to the back door thinking someone had come over and I didn't hear the back door open... much to my disappointment they hadn't and I was all alone...so.. my imagination is getting carried away as I walk back down the hall to the bathroom and I attempt to push the bathroom door open... it wouldn't open which freaked me a bit... so I reached for the knob...turned it...pushing the door open only to find the darn cat on the other side looking all confused as to how he ended up behind the closed door.

Yes... my imagination takes me to levels unknown to most...

I just watched that movie last night too Search.
I found it frustrating and gorey (sp?), but not scary at all.

The music and sound effects mixed with my imagination is what spooked me... bloody, yes...scary, no.

i saw it this weekend and was cracking up the entire time....

you can't just see it and nto liek it because it is stupid--you knew it was going to be stupid when you bought your tickets. i mean, didnt you see the previews? so yeah, it was stupid--it was meant to be, but that doesnt mean it wasn't also really funny! I saw it with my 45 year old mom and my 14 year old cousin and we were all crackign up and left the theater with big grins on our faces :-)
