Anyone care to share some training resources geared toward the annual Trust Department exam? I would certainly appreciate any suggestions you might have for this area.

When you reference "exam" my assumption is that you are looking for something in connection with regulatory examinations, not audits. If I'm wrong, you may want to clarify. I have never seen a program aimed at regulatory examinations in the trust area, but would comfortably refer you to the Canon Financial Institute for trust and audit related training.

Thanks Ken. Both audit and exam are needed. Our experience with Canon has been that it is geared for individuals on a career path in Trust Services and our trust department staff go to Canon's training. We are hoping to identify a training source geared more toward the annual audit and regulatory (FDIC) exam requirements. BTW, for those who may be interested, our trust staff have been exceptionally pleased with the training offered by Canon.

IMO Cannon offers the best trust audit school available. It's a three year program and upon passing the exam you can be a Certified Fiduciary & Investment Risk Specialist.
