My wife and I enjoyed Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea's Family Reunion.

Madea's Family Reunion is the sort-of sequel to Mad Black Woman.

I don’t think it’s out yet, but when it is, rent Nacho Libre.

I only suggest this because it would help me sleep at night knowing that others have waisted their money on this movie as well, I won’t feel so cheated.

I would slit my wrists before I watched that monstrosity....

Was gonna invite you over for popcorn and a movie! Never mind...I'm squeamish around a lil' blood.

Awwwwww Pumpkin, I wouldn't do that with you around!

I love me some biscuits!

My husband and I watched 'The Notebook' last weekend and loved it. Tonight we might watch 'V for Vendetta'. My son loved that movie so it's sitting on our TV now. Remember, with any movie you need lots of popcorn.

Last week I rented a classic: American Graffiti. Since most of you are probably a lot younger than me, the movie came out in 1972. Directed by George Lucas and produced by Francis Ford Coppola, it starred a lot of young actors who would go on to become famous: Ron Howard, Richard Dreyfuss, Cindy Williams, Harrison Ford, MacKenzie Phillips, and Suzanne Somers.

Classic is right. I love that movie.

How about another 'classic' going back even further. The Last Picture Show. Cybill Shephard, Jeff Bridges, Cloris Leachman.

We rented Elizabethtown recently and fully expected it to be a dumb romantic comedy. We were pleasantly surprised - it had its cute moments but it had a conscience, too. More than I expected.
