My son and his friend went to the concert last weekend in Sioux Falls. I asked him how it was and he said it was debauchery. I didn't ask him anymore about it.

Um, yeah. I was thinking about going and looked up the cost.
$40 to see Alice in Chains?
Without Layne Staley?
(And in the case of the city where I live...)
In a crappy venue?

I'll pass unless I start to hear some really great reviews, which, so far, has not been the case.

Hey BG, purchased Maiden tickets this weekend, $120 for two.

But I'm sure it will be worth it.

They're coming to Austin but don't think I will see them.. Just have no interest even though I really like their stuff. Definitely wouldn't pay $40 for them.

BG, have you heard the new Obituary or Lamb of God CD's? If so, how are they?

The new Lamb Of God is good. I've only listened to it twice so far but I really like it. They are a band that grows on you. My favorite song so far is "Redneck", the chorus is awesome. There are alot more solos on this album than there were on "ashes of the wake". If you go to best buy, you can get a dvd that comes with it and an live ep. The dvd has the making of the record as well as a video for "Redneck".

New Hatebreed and Motorhead comes out next week. I've heard Hatebreed's album (I'm still going to buy it) and it's easily their best one, by far.
