...and I'm SO excited!!!

And this weekend, I came up with a great idea for a costume! For the last couple years, I've been a flamingo, but my mom's dumb dog chewed up my flamingo mask and I don't have hours of free time to make a new one, SO....

...I am goign to be the Coppertone kid! Little blue bloomers with the back taped down a bit to show a nice tan line, a little white babydoll tank top (since I am NOT goign topless liek the girl on the bottle), and pig tails. Now here's the funny part-- I plan to find a partner to dress up as a dog so we can "pose" liek the picture on the bottle. Ha! This is gonna be great!!!

So, what are y'all doing for Halloween this year? I knwo it's nearly 2 months away, but the parties start the begining of October, which is leass than a month away!

I've long outgrown Halloween but I did dress up as Elvira once. I was her twin and even had to wait for my hair color to grow out Stupid idea, stupid idea..........

A girl at one of our branches just sent me over a big bag of black spiders. I can't wait to use them around here and at home. Made my day!

I'm still looking for ideas. My son is going to be a pirate and wants me to be a pirate, too, so that may be it. Last year he was Buzz Lightyear and was a little disappointed that I didn't dress like Woody, although to my credit, he didn't mention it until the last minute. I guess I can't disappoint him this year since he is giving me advance notice.

I always enjoy making costumes for my kids. I have made a Shamu the killer wale costume, a Bannana's in Pajamas costume, a Sponge Bob costume, and a fire truck out of a wagon for my son. The past couple of years they have wanted store bought costumes, but this year my 3 year old son wants to be, of all things, an Oscar Mayer Weiner so off to the fabric store I go.....

Well last year I was a Mormon Missionary, I know, sorry if that offends some. The year before that I was Silent Bob from Jay and Silent Bob. This year I was considering going as Hugh Hefner and my boyfriend could be a bunny.

When I go to work I wear my scrub suit, my old fatigues or my flight suit.

I don't dress up and my two older kids think they are too old to dress up for Halloween. But I need a costume idea for my little Katie. I made the other two their first costume so I feel like I should make hers, but I have no idea what to make!

I was thinking of dressing up as a suicide bomber and trick-or-treating on Pennsylvania Ave.

(it's a joke -- lighten up )

My hubby and I were talking about halloween this weekend. He's planning on dressing as a leprechaun. No clue what I'll be.. although I really like firecracker popsicles...

I went to a Halloween party last year where a guy actually came in his Birthday Suit. Absolutley nothing on, no joke. Close to one hundred people there. They gave him two cups, one for beer, and the other for everyone else's sake. Took home best costume. That was prety hardcore

You could be a four-leaf clover or a pot of gold!

I did a really cute pumpkin for my kids. It's quick and easy, and in most pattern books.

I think I'll resurrect an old costume from a few years ago. I pinned a few socks and couple of pairs of panties to my outer clothing and told anyone who asked that I was "static cling".
