Who else is as excited about the new Grey's season as me? I cannot wait until next Tuesday when Season 2 is out on DVD. I heart Dr. McDreamy!

ABC has put Grey's on opposite CSI; it's called "counter-programming." It will be interesting to see which program gets the better numbers. I would guess that CSI will do well with the male viewers while Grey's will do well with female viewers. Since I have Tivo, I can watch both.

I'm also looking forward to NCIS, ER, Boston Legal, and my favorite show on TV -- Veronica Mars. My wife likes Dancing with the Stars, Gilmore Girls, and My Name is Earl.

I watched a couple of episodes of Vanished but quit watching. The Senator's daughter was the stupidist character since Jack Bauer's daughter on 24. Why would an actress allow their character to be such a foolish person?

I'm so excited I can barely stand it for Grey's Anatomy. I'm still watching the re-runs and the previews for the new season are killing me. I heart McDreamy too!

I am so excited for this to start...I just watched the first season again to get ready for the second season coming out on Tuesday. Then I'm all refreshed and as excited as I was last spring

I'm also looking for to ER, and the new Tuesday nights with Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls on the new network (CW). I thought that those were two excellent shows to put together for a night.

And I'm looking forward to the new Sunset Strip show with Matthew Perry and Amanda Peet...I have really high hopes for that one.

Steve, I feel the same about 'Vanished'..I made it three episodes, and I'll probably keep going for a couple more, but I am kind of unimpressed so far. I keep waiting for it to get more interesting (I've always like the guy that is playing the lead detective)...

When is the season premier? I'd hate myself if I missed it.

I knew it hadn't started yet, but if I don't start keeping track of when all of my shows start, I'm bound to miss some. There are so many great ones lined up this fall. Grey's Anatomy tops them all, though!

That's actually much more creative than what it really represents. It's the number I've worn on my softball jersey for the last 20 years!

We interrupt this program for an important message:

Yep, Bisquick, did them yesterday.

And now, back to your program.

SXM ;) Wishful thinking!
Can I slip in here and ask a question? I've never watched this show, but am very intrigued by what I've seen (pieces of scenes, or promos). Is it something I could pick up on beginning with this season, or will I be hopelessly out of touch with who's who? I see that the second season DVDs are coming out, but I couldn't possibly watch all of them by Sept 21 . And what about the first season? I'm so behind

no, you won't be out of touch. It's a unrealistic show about over-sexed doctors and interns. There were a couple of story lines that bordered on realism but the rest were pure hollywood overseasoned with large dollups of lust between oh, just about everybody.

Yea, I know. I'm the only person on the planet who thinks Dr. McDreamy is NOT dreamy. How can you like a guy who bops the intern and then goes home and sleeps with his Dr. wife all in the same day? What's dreamy about that?!

Sorry. I really tried to watch this show but I have to be able to respect the character to find him believable.

It won't take long to catch up on the characters. But I saw a Primetime special on the medical cases on the show. They are actually based on real life happenings. A guy really did have nails in his head, etc. Plus, the medical case actually has a story line tied to the life of the characters and what they are going through each week.

Just go to the Grey's Anatomy site at abc.com and read up on the character bios. You can catch up on the synopsis of the storylines there.

Ok, who watched last night? Who liked Merediths panties being pinned on the board under lost and found? That Addison.
