I have two questions; we are FDIC regulated:
1. The mortgage dept wants to use a printed brochure provided by their investors and wants to put our bank logo on it. My first instinct is to tell them no, that we can't do this, however, I can't find anything that gives me that support.
2. Again, the mortgage dept wants to place a bullentin board in the lobby of several branches "spotlighting" a service provider that they use and change it every month. Again, I want to say no.

Joint marketing efforts can be cost effective, you just need to be cautious about whom you have relationships with. If the marketing material doesn't violate any regs, I don't think you will find support to kill the material.
