He did have a few times where he hesitated after going back to work. Once was when they found the people dead below ground - I believe it was a cult type situation. He almost couldn't go, but he did. Of course any normal person would have to undergo intense therapy.

I agree Becka, I think they did a good job with the whole situation after Nick's ordeal. They touched on it a few times, but not too much to detract from the rest of the cast. Each one of the characters has issues that they spotlight, and this is will be one of Nick's.

Remember the season-ending episode where Nick was buried alive? That episode still gives me the willies. Does anyone think for a moment that if you did survive such an ordeal, that you could go back to work without missing a beat like Nick did? For me, I doubt I could go back to being a CSI, and I would definately need serious counseling from a professional. I think the program would have been better had they written into the following episodes the problems that Nick would have had.
Didn't they skip like a year or something between seasons to explain his being back? I can honestly say from having something not quite so horrific but still having been abducted, I certainly couldn't go back to my old job!

I watched it. While robbing the store they stole some contraband (or something like that) diamonds a guy was trying to sell to the store. He ended up killing one of the girls and then holding another hostage until the third girl brought the diamonds back. The cute brunette CSI went in undercover but got busted, they had a picture of the 3 blond girls. They saved her and the hostage just in time.

I watch CSI and CSI:NY. I think that Lindsey and Danny are headed for a romance on NY, and I think I am ready for Catherine to finally get her act together. Maybe this whole thing with her father will help push her in the right direction.

For some reason I see Warrick and Catherine getting together - well at least once. He was having marital problems last year and I look for that to escalate. Remember, Catherine was upset when he got married and told him when you have a fantasy and then there is no way for it to happen . . .

I think Grissom and Sara are going to be like Mulder and Scully, at least for awhile. Writers like to tease the viewers so we'll keep watching! I'll be surprised if Catherine & Warrick get together. When she made that fantasy comment, I didn't get the impression that he really shared her feelings. Maybe if his marriage frustration boils over he might give a little. Besides, it would be suicide for the show to focus on two co-worker affairs at the same time. How cheesy would it be for Grissom & Sara to start double-dating with Catherine & Warrick?

Four corpses are going to sit up and talk to each other about how they got there.

Is Catherine's dad gonna die, or just be in the hospital for a while????

Food for thought - if he does die - who inherits? One of his sons was killed by the other a few years ago.

I thought that looked like a fatal gunshot, but, hey, it's TV. I don't think Catherine will inherit much, cause that would wreck the show. I mean, do you think she would continue to work with dead bodies if she was a casino mogul?

I agree. By the way, does anyone watch Eureka? I love how they took care of balancing the keep you waiting with instant gratification by having a temporal disturbance show the future of the two getting together, being married, having a kid, etc. with none of it has happened and we are still in the courting stage.....

Not to hijack, but... Yeah, BF. I've been watching Eureka. Wasn't completely sold on it in the beginning, but my husband liked it so we kept watching. Now I'm hooked . I really like that I can count on at least a couple of out loud laughs every episode...

FL was most excellent! It rained almost everyday the week before we got there, but while we were there, nothing but sunshine and 90 degrees! The weeding we attended was beautiful. A sunset ceremony on the beach.

So I wasn't very impressed with the show last night. I guess the ending kind of summed it up - "The dead can't speak for themselves" (or whatever Grissom said). Looks like the viewers found out that they can... Big deal. It was ok I guess - but I think it could have been a lot better.

I only got to watch the last 15 minutes (had a meeting after work), but I did record it on the DVR and plan on watching it this weekend.

I agree. Did you notice that the guy who did the stabbing was in the same room as the others but never sat up? What's that about?

I thought it was odd that the corpses spoke at all. That wasn't a typical CSI thing...I was unimpressed with the episode.
