I'm another daring thrill-seeker.

I actually had dinner recently with an ex-CIA, and he encouraged me to consider applying. My dad already thinks I should join the FBI.

Did you ever think: Maybe your dad IS FBI???? You never know.

I can't imagine him handling the politics at a government agency. Then again, I can't figure why he imagines I would be able to handle them, either...

Easy...you get to carry a gun everywhere you go. It cuts right through a lot of politics...unless of course you got assigned to PA--then you might have an ammo-less gun.

I'd have to be licensed to carry the gun, so buying ammo in PA wouldn't be a problem. Plus, I could buy ammo for all my friends with unlicensed weapons. And while I'm at it, maybe I could get some beer for the teenagers...

Assuming you have this level of influence and power, could you then demand that fries I order in NY be made in the transiest (if that’s a word) fat possible?

FBI don't need no stinkin' state license to carry a gun--are you kidding?

I did assume FBI would need some sort of license to carry a weapon.

I really doubt the license would be a state license. I presume their badge IS their license to carry a gun. And, I've been to dinner with an agent, and they carry their gun everywhere--even to a non-working dinner.

I agree it probably would not be a state license. Maybe the badge is all it takes. I've never asked any of the agents I work with.

That's not very risky or daring. Unless..... we are parachuting, naked, out of the plane.
