Can anyone tell me whether the Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner assigns ratings when they conduct a compliance exam? If so, is it basically Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory, or do they assign a numerical rating like the federal regulators do? Thanks.

The State does not do a Compliance exam. They only do Safety and Soundness and BSA. They assign a numerical rating.

They do conduct compliance exams covering state fee issues and federal consumer disclosure regs. But I don't think they issue an exam rating like the federal banking regulators do.
