Anyone know how to get rid of Pigeons? I seem to be having a problem with them since they have decided to nest above my door. I get home yesterday to find that they have apparently decided to clean house and there is pigeon poo everywhere!!!!! and I dont mean just a few droppings here and there. I could have filled up a five gallon bucket.

Help me, please!

I've read that their droppings can really rot wood and such.
No joking...I'd lace some popcorn with poison and set it out.

The term "get rid of them" should not be interpreted as to "kill" them. I just want them to set up house elsewhere besides my doorstep.

However, if I lead a trail of popcorn over to the neighbor's door, reckon that will work? LOL

Call a pest exterminator, they can trap them and move them.

For a permanent solution, install some sharp tacks or nails (pointy-side-out) above your door. Lots of cities put these type of sharp implements on ledges, shade trellises, etc. In foreign countries, I've even seen them stick pieces of broken glass into concrete while it sets up.

Apparently birds don't like sharp pokes under their tail feathers!
