Good episode last night. Loved the scene with Hiro and DL and the exploding car.

What happened in the last 5 minutes? My Tivo cut out again, right after DL grabbed the phone from Micah. (I'm going to have to change my tivo settings)

Last night was good. Nicki isn't dead, she isn't a villian, she's trying to control her alter ego. But it will be a struggle.

I think we met "the bomb" that is going to destroy New York last night too.

I need to change the settings so that it records five minutes before the five minutes after the show.

My problem is I have mine recording two things coming up on different channels after the show!

It went into a dialog about a new hero being found (Micah maybe). I was doing 2 things at once. Did you notice that the Cop and the Bomb guy have a different mark than Hiro and Niki?

It was Micah - he tried to call his mom, but found the phone had an "out of order" sign on it. He placed his hand on the phone for a few seconds and then it worked.

It sounded like Nathan made an arrangement with Linderman on the phone and didn't tell Peter about it.

I think that Claire is going to be exposed pretty soon, too many people are finding out about her.

Peter seems to have the most interesting power, I'd love to be able to borrow some abilities for a while.

I was thinking that maybe one side will be "good" and one side will be "bad", but the cop doesn't seem to be bad. Maybe he turns bad because of his wife. I couldn't hear (darn kids) what he heard in his wifes mind. Can anyone tell me? Is she having an affair?

I thought that maybe the cop and the bomb guy had been implanted with something so that they can be monitored (or maybe controlled?).

The cop's wife is having an affair with another cop - he discovered it toward the end of the show last night when he was talking with the other cop in the locker room and he heard his thoughts.

Im thinking the marks are showing that they have powers. The more they use them/master them, the more of the symbol appears on them. Just like on stripper girl, when her alter ego takes over, they make sure they show the symbol full on.

The online comic this weak is about the cop.

Yeah, Matt did inadvertently eavesdrop on his wife's mind, as it were. He was about to tell her about his Vulcan mindscan powers and said something like "Speaking of coming clean, we need to talk" and she mentalled an "OH NOES! I thought I'd been so careful!" And he immediately realized that she was probably stepping out on him. Then his cop buddy smirkily thought-crimed a confirmation when he was all "Oh, yeah--time to go get me some sweet, sweet lovin' when he's out FBIing".

I have a vague feeling that maybe the writers didn't originally intend to take the story in that direction but felt maybe his homelife was an unnecessary drag on the plot or else they just wanted to set up something between him and Clea Duvall, the FBI agent.

Ok, any theories about tonight?

I think I missed something lastnight. What is the importance on the pic of Hiro and the girl at the end?

I am guess in Mohinder will be a believer after meeting his sister.

SWEET, I have been putting out a theory amongst friends that daddy being a bad guy was too obvious, and he would probably be a twisted good guy. LOVED last night's pic.

me too, NBC is doing that on purpose. It is a ploy to punish us for DVRing it.

Mine too. What happened at the end. Mine cut out just after Hiro's friend counted to five.

Not sure how much you missed, so here is the last few scenes:

Hiro didn't reappear. However, they scanned to the wall with the pictures on it, and the picture with the waitress holding her birthday cake now has Hiro in it. Not sure how far back he went, but I'm guessing it wasn't one day.

Mr. Bennet got Eden to convince Isaac to take the drugs and paint. Apparently, her power is the power of persuasion. She wasn't happy about doing it.

Mr. Bennet watched as Claire colored the banner that is seen in Isaac's painting of Hiro and Ando and it looked like he recognized it.

Radiation man escaped by blowing up the car he was riding in.

That should cover the last 5 minutes.

Next week looks like the episode. The previews showed Claire getting beat up - and Peter there trying to save her.

you forgot that the cop confronted his wife about the affair, and she asked if they were done and he said he didn't know. then, he got the call about the fire and raditation man and he left.

I agree that next week looks like the climatic one. Everyone converges to save the cheerleader
