Currently, when a customer wants to automatically transfer funds from their savings account to their checking account to cover overdrafts, we just have them sign a form indicating which account numbers they are authorizing this transfer to/from, and having them sign. For some reason this doesn't seem like enough to me, but I can't seem to find any required disclosures for this. Can anyone else tell me what they include on these authorization forms?

This would be a legal agreement to perform transfers and you should probably consult your attorney regarding the sufficiency of any document you chose to use. Remember these transfers will count against the transfer limitations for savings and MMDA accounts.
