I am not very familiar with the basic rules on advertising and have a couple of questions. Our bank is in a very small town and we do not do much product advertising, but I was wondering if we place an ad in a school's yearbook with just our bank name,address,and telephone #, do we have to put the FDIC Logo and Equal Housing Lender on that ad. It is the size of a business card. We also advertise in the local small town paper with just our basic information, not any product information. We do put the FDIC Logo on those, but do we need to put the EHL house on it also.

You need the FDIC logo, but not the Equal Housing Lender unless you reference mortgage loans.

You don't need the FDIC logo. You can simply include "Member FDIC"
